Why the Android and iPhone versions are coming later
America 250 was created to celebrate our nation's history, spirit of independence, and the freedoms that have shaped generations of Americans.
Our studio is committed to producing family-friendly games that can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. During the mobile publishing process, we learned that app store policies and rating systems classify our game differently than we believe reflects its intended audience. Rather than redesign the game to fit those requirements, we've chosen to focus our time and resources elsewhere.
For that reason, the PC and web editions will be our primary platforms at launch.
Our goal is simple: make our games available to the widest audience possible without requiring players to purchase a specific device or commit to a particular ecosystem. A modern web browser or computer gives more people access with fewer barriers.
Android and iPhone versions are still planned, but they will follow after the PC and web releases. We want to spend our time building games, adding new content, improving accessibility, and supporting our players instead of navigating platform-specific requirements.
If you're looking for the mobile experience today, we encourage you to play the web version, which will continue to receive the latest updates alongside the PC edition.
Thank you for supporting independent game development and for helping us build games that place players first.
